The Pleurotus and its properties

The Pleurotus is a mushroom color of slate or gray sky, with a herbaceous scent that recalls the walnut husk and is also known by the vulgar names of Orecchione and Gelone. Its name derives from the Latin word ostrea which means oyster and in some parts of Italy the owl is, in fact, called “oyster mushroom”.
